*Bourbon Whiskey ;  Bourbon Whiskey originates from 'Bourbon County, Kentuckey.' It is a liquor distilled from no less than 51% corn, balanced with barley, wheat and/or rye. Fermented with the clean crisp limestone spring waters of the region, filtered & distilled in pot stills ‘in Kentucky’. Each house jealously guarding the sometimes ‘generations old’ family bourbon recipe.  Aged from at least 2 years, but more commonly 4 ~ 12 years in new white oak casks. These aging barrels are first charred inside to ‘caramelize’ the natural sugars out of the wood. THEN the spirits are allowed on the wood for their maturation. This unique form of aging is revealed in the subtle, mellow & slightly sweet flavor to this fine elixir. Usually full bodied with a hint of smoke & caramel, Bourbon Whiskey has a proud 200 Year History. Concerning other counties or regions that this distinctive elixir comes from... Only 'Kentucky Whiskey is considered 'real' 'Bourbon Whiskey'.

It is rumored that an old Baptist Minister named 'Elijah Craig' was the first to brew real Bourbon Whiskey. A tradition that lives on proudly today.
